Volunteer needed for 3 to 6 months
Opportunity Description: Volunteers normally contribute to the organization's ongoing programs and projects and in some cases are encouraged to undertake innovative projects that may contribute to organizational or community development. Ongoing projects include provision of medical care (clinic-based or home-based) to clients; community outreach, awareness, and sensitization programs including youth groups and home visits; voluntary counseling and testing for HIV/AIDS and other diseases (at clinic facility and outreach levels); income-generating projects for grandmothers taking care of orphans and vulnerable children; and a rehabilitation center for HIV-positive children.
